Charging/Discharging Roller for Walking Beam Furnace
Walking Beam Furnace- Initially walking beam furnaces were designed with alloy steel walking beams which were exposed directly to the furnace heat and were also subjected to heat corrosion.
The charging roller / discharging roller is a special form of conveying roller table. Its structural feature is that the support and transmission parts of the roller are evenly arranged on the same side of the roller table. The charging roller / discharging roller table is widely used in the conveying of steel billlets during side entry and side exit.
The charging roller / discharging roller sleeve is located in the heating furnace. The temperature at the end of the furnace is generally about 650 degrees Celsius, and the temperature at the end of the furnace is generally about 1100 degrees Celsius. The roller head is made of alloy material, which has good high temperature resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance, and can adapt to various harsh working enerionments. At the same time, the charging/discharging roll shaft is an important accessory of the roll head, which bears the load of the whole roll head. The roller shaft is made of high-strength alloy steel material, which has excellent strength and durability after precision machining and heat treatment.
Selecting a suitable charging roller / discharging roller for walking beam furnace needs to consider many factors, such as the operating temperature of the heating furnace, the diameter and length of the roll head, and the bearing capacity of the roll shaft. At present, the material of the roll head is generally made of high-temperature heat-resistant alloy steel. The charging roll entering the furnace is generally ZGCr25Ni20Si2, and discharging roll out of the furnace is generally ZG Cr28Ni48W5.
